Staff at a Nantwich coffee shop have been voted cream of the crop by winning Best Café at the Dining Out Awards.
Enzo, which opened just three years ago, received hundreds of votes from happy punters in the awards run by Nantwich Food Festival.
Employees at the coffee shop, owned by James Skade and Carrie Slater, picked up their gong at a presentation night at Rookery Hall in Nantwich next week.
Jordan Hassall, Enzo chef, said: “For local people to take the time to vote for us as the best café in the area makes our team’s hard work justified. The kitchen team is very passionate.
“We consider ourselves very lucky to be surrounded by colleagues who really care about making every single plate as special as it can be and it feels great that perhaps this has been recognised by our customers.”
David Davenport, supervisor and barista, added: “We have invested a lot of time and money into making sure our coffee is up there with the best in the country.
“With trips to London, Stafford, Bradford, Lancaster, Leeds and Manchester, we have trained with some of the best in the business and hope this reflects in our results.
“Baristas have to undergo intense 1 on 1 training sessions and even pass an exam before they are let loose on the machine!”
And Rachel Lowe, restaurant supervisor, said: “I’ve only been at Enzo for two months but I can honestly say the team is brilliant and fully deserve the award.
“They all work so hard and care so much about each and every coffee, pizza and piece of cake that is sold.
“Our customers are everything, without them there is no Enzo – so we are constantly thinking of new and exciting ways to improve our service and to bring the Enzo Experience to more and more people!”
