A new exhibition called “Nantwich Turnpikes 1744 – 1880” is underway in Nantwich Museum.

The exhibition is by Dr Keith Lawrence and runs at the Pillory Street venue until Saturday November 8.

New “One in Eleven Appeal” neonatal unit opens at Leighton Hospital

A new neonatal intensive care unit funded by a two-year charity appeal has been officially opened at Leighton Hospital, near Nantwich.

Guests including Crewe & Nantwich MP Edward Timpson, who attended the opening, were given a tour of the unit to see the new facilities.

A campaign to help fund the movie version of fantasy series The Minister of Chance, set in Cheshire, is underway.

The campaign will run on Kickstarter until October 31 to finance the movie by offering rewards to business donors in return for funding.
