Nantwich will host a traditional Christmas market in the town square this Saturday December 13.
There will be a range of stalls selling alternative vintage and handmade items, clothing and decorations at the market.
Shoppers will be able to buy party dresses and coats, jewellery and accessories, as well as children’s clothing, toys, and pet products.
The following week, December 20, there will be fine food and drink on sale at the popular Farmers Market, also in the town square.
There will be fresh produce from local farmers and producers including bakery products, home-made pickles, chutneys and jams and a range of fresh, local meat.
Nantwich’s traditional market opens every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
There has been a market in Nantwich since 1500 and the present indoor market building, at the junction of Market Street and Churchyardside, dates from 1867.
Stallholders sell a wide variety of goods including fresh produce and household items.
There is also free parking available on Saturdays throughout December.
