Unbeaten Railway Hotel suffered a shock exit in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Presidents Cup.

Railway were held to a goalless draw by Sydney Arms after extra-time, and then lost in a penalty shoot-out.

Labour councillors lost a proposal to use £500,000 of government funding to keep the children’s centres open after an hour long debate.
