Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson helped local dealership Gateway Peugeot launch their annual toy collection campaign.

The campaign aims to collect gifts and toys in aid of charities Catch 22 and Donna Louise children’s hospice.

Keith Lloyd, from Gateway Peugeot, Mr Timpson, and representatives from Catch 22 and The Donna Louise Trust, gathered for the launch.

These included Cheryl Darnell, Karen Mitchell and Tracy Bailey from Catch 22, and Nicky Birks, Katie Tams, and Graham Witter from Donna Louise.

Keith said: “Gateway Peugeot Crewe will be collecting in Nantwich town centre.

“This is something we have been doing now for the 11th year running, having collected into the thousands of toys over those years.”

Alex Walker, Gateway general manager, said it was something the company feels “passionately” about.

Gifts can also be dropped off at Gateway Peugeot Crewe, seven days a week.

Staff will be in Nantwich town centre collecting on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the run up to Christmas, including December 8-10 and December 15-17.

Catch 22 provides support to families in Crewe and Nantwich and will be providing toys that they will not get unless we collect them.

Donna Louise Trust is a local children’s hospice providing care for local families with children with palliative care.
