Richmond Village Nantwich rated “outstanding” by CQC inspectors

Richmond Village retirement centre in Nantwich has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ for its domiciliary care after a visit from regulators, the Care Quality Commission.

The inspection report puts the Richmond Nantwich, which opened in 1996, among the top 3% of home care providers in England.

The concert featured Crewe Brass, drummers from Cheshire Drums & Bugles, European mezzo soprano Emma Brown, and Acton CE Primary Academy Choir conducted by headteacher Rachael McKinley.

Prostate cancer group raises £2,000 for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity

A prostate cancer group which offers support, awareness and prostate specific antigen (PSA) testing for Crewe and Nantwich men has raised almost £2,000 Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity.

The money has been used to buy three specialised phlebotomy chairs, two for the Phlebotomy Service and one for the Imaging Department at Leighton Hospital.
