Firefighters tackled a tumble dryer fire on Barony Road in Nantwich.
The blaze happened on Thursday at 7.45pm.
Staff and pupils are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Wistaston Berkeley Primary School.
The school, now called The Berkeley Academy on Laidon Avenue, first opened on Monday January 6 1969.
