A Nantwich man was injured and taken to hospital after being attacked by a dog today (June 2).
Police say the incident happened at a property on Manor Road North at around 2pm.
Officers and paramedics were on the scene for around two hours after finding the victim, who has not been named, with serious injuries..
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 1.50pm on Tuesday June 2 a report was received that a man had been attacked by a dog at an address on Manor Road North in Nantwich.
“Officers swiftly attended the scene and found a man with serious injuries.
“He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“The dog involved in the incident has been secured.”
