Shavington Youth Centre has been re-opened by MP Edward Timpson after undergoing a £5,000 revamp.
The Central Cheshire Buddy Scheme received £5,000 from Cheshire East Council for important improvements.
Work was carried out on pedestrian areas at the rear of the building, a new outdoor table tennis table, and swings and climbing equipment on a safe surface at the other end of the outside area.
These are now all available to users of the facility.
A new kitchen has been built in the main club room which provides improved provision of food and drinks and an area to teach food production to children and young people.
Mr Timpson, Minister of State for Children and Families, officially re-opened the centre in front of a children, staff, helpers and friends.
Local Cllr Steve Edgar said: “Our thanks go to Cheshire East Council for its community grant, to the Central Cheshire Buddy Scheme for its infusion of significant funds and to all those other kind donors of the necessary money to achieve these results.”
Mr Timpson added: “We also wish to thank everyone who has taken part in the preparation and dedicated hard work in the building of these projects.
“When taken together, these will make a much improved and more exciting facility for the use of children and young people.”
