The M6 northbound in Cheshire is fully open again after a serious crash involving an HGV which plunged 60ft off the main carriageway.
The vehicle fell off the motorway in heavy rain near Thelwall Viaduct between junction 20 and 21 at around 6.50pm last night (September 30).
A Flood Warning has been issued for the section of River Weaver at Shrewbridge Lodge in Nantwich.
