Cheshire East voters urged to check polling stations

Voters across Cheshire East are being urged to check the location of their local polling station – so they don’t lose their voice in the General Election.

Cheshire East Council will be responsible for running 280 polling stations across the whole borough, where votes can be cast on December 12.

A long-awaited development that will transform a busy part of Nantwich has been given the green light from councillors – despite some concerns over flood risk.

At Wednesday’s meeting, Cheshire East Council’s southern planning committee voted to approve plans for 31 apartments plus a hotel, restaurants and shops at the former gasworks off Welsh Row.
