Plans for up to 29 holiday lodges at a marina site near Nantwich have been recommended for approval.
Church Minshull Aqueduct Marina Limited wants to change the use of agricultural land so the lodges and a manager’s cabin can be provided on the site, which is on the Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.

Plans for a solar farm near Nantwich which could supply energy to more than 6,500 homes a year have been unanimously approved.
Noventum Power Ltd wants to construct and operate the solar farm on a 17.5-hectare site in the open countryside at Hatherton Lodge Farm, off Hunsterson Road.
Muller Property Group has opened a public consultation on its plans to build 127 new homes on land in Audlem.
The developer says their proposal will “help alleviate the local housing shortage in Cheshire East”.
