Crewe Pride in the Park postponed to Saturday September 25
Crewe Pride in the Park will now be held on Saturday September 25, organisers have announced.
The virtual event had initially been planned for August 14.

Family Fete with Teddy Bears Picnic in aid of Wingate Centre
The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury will host its 10th Teddy Bears Picnic in August at nearby Cholmondeley Castle.
The event on Sunday August 22 includes the popular Teddy Bear Hunt, Name the Teddy, art and crafts, stalls, Teddy Tombola, Lucky Dip, Hook a Duck, Face Painting, Bouncy, Balloon Animals and more.

New arts courses are being staged this summer to offer Crewe and Nantwich youngsters a chance to develop skills.
Funding has been secured for Mako Create to run three different courses offering creative, technology-based workshops in Cheshire East.

Volunteer group Nantwich Buddies piloted a six-week mental wellness programme part funded by a grant from the Cheshire Crime Commissioner fund.
Happiness Hub Podcast hosts Kedren Elliott, a counsellor, and Liz Parkin, founder of the Nantwich Buddies, teamed up with mindset coach Benjamin Stubbs to launch the free course called “Happy Appy”.

Cheshire East Virtual Pride is returning for its second year, with this year’s event taking place on Saturday August 14 from 2-6pm.
There will be a mix of interviews, music, competitions, performances and information supporting the LGBTQ+ community, with live presenters featuring throughout the day
Richmond Village in Nantwich to host open day
Retirement complex Richmond Village Nantwich is hosting an open day to discover what life at the centre.
The open day will take place on Wednesday June 30, where the village manager will stage tours of apartments currently available and offer afternoon cream tea served in the restaurant.
Free organised “health walks” return to Nantwich
Everybody Sport and Recreation are re-launching its “Health Walks”.
The walks are being organised by trained volunteers, and will leave from Nantwich Swimming Pool and the Barony Sports Complex.

Nantwich Library is joining libraries across Cheshire East to stage the 2021 Summer Reading Challenge.
