“Elizabeth” girls boost Nantwich Jubilee event in town square

Two girls called Elizabeth from a Nantwich school will take centre stage for the lighting of a Queen’s Jubilee beacon in the town square. The youngsters, of Pear Tree Primary School in Stapeley, will light a candle that will be handed to the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs, who will then light the official beacon.
