A new plan to invest in grassroots football in Cheshire East could see a new 3G pitch and other facilities for Nantwich and other towns.
Cheshire East Council says it welcomes the publication of a plan that sets out a vision for transforming local community sports facilities.

Nantwich Town Ladies beat Egerton 7-0 in a pre-season encounter at Nantwich’s Applewood Independent 3G pitch.
The match helped prepare the Dabbers players for their 2023/24 campaign in the Premier Division of the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League.
The Ultimate Quiz Night will be held in Nantwich Town’s Atherton & Associates Suite in March to raise funds for the club.
The March 17 event will have a St Patrick’s Day theme two-hour quiz followed by live music, Indian buffet and a raffle to win prizes donated by local businesses.
