Members of the Hough & District, Middlewyches, Woodnoth-cum-Shavington and Warmingham WI wanted to highlight the national “Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife” campaign.

A Nantwich councillor has asked if Cheshire East Council has plans to introduce a programme to help people quit vaping amid a rising numbers of young people using vapes.
Cllr Anna Burton’s comments came as a recent support showed the percentage of young people in Cheshire East claiming to vape regularly has almost doubled since 2020.
A Nantwich councillor is to table a motion calling for a voluntary ban on single use vapes in the town.
Town and Cheshire East Councillor Anna Burton is behind the motion which she says is supported by public health and environmental experts.
