Scottish Power chiefs ‘sorry’ as Nantwich hit by power cuts
Electricity bosses have apologised after Nantwich was hit by two major power cuts this week.
And they revealed the two incidents were not connected, and just “coincidence”.
A fire underground on High Street in Nantwich forced nearby shops to be evacuated.
Fire crews and police were called out to the blaze outside the Crown Hotel near the town square after what was described as an “explosion”.
