A commemorative concert for fallen heroes of South Cheshire is to be held 100 years after the start of the First World War.
Called “Crewe Reflects – a Commemorative Concert”, it includes a premiere of new work combining original music, film and writing.
Ariana & The Rose will be performing in Nantwich as support act for The Hoosiers during their 16-date UK tour. Both bands will be performing live at The Studio venue on Castle Street in Nantwich on May 21.
Nantwich Choral Society is to stage its spring concert in the Civic Hall on March 23. The concert will feature tenor Peter Kirk and the Northern Concordia Orchestra.
A concert in aid of Wistaston Rose Queen Naomi Barker’s charity will take place on March 8. The ukulele concert in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity will be staged at St Mary’s Church Hall on Church Lane, Wistaston.
A fund-raising concert is taking place at Brine Leas School in Nantwich in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The event features The Co-operative Junior & Beginner Wind Bands and pupils of Willaston Primary School.
St Mary’s Church in Nantwich is to launch its Summer Lunchtime Concert series on Thursday June 13. The first concert will feature a programme from the ever-popular Nantwich Singers and begins at 12.30pm.

Music and performing arts students at a Crewe and Nantwich college staged a spectacular Christmas music concert. The South Cheshire College students performed a double header of festive hits and popular songs.
Stapeley families are invited to join in the parish’s first annual Christmas Carol concert later this month. The event will be held at the Cronkinson Farm pub (pictured), off Peter Destapleigh Way, from 6.30pm onwards on Wednesday December 21.
