Nantwich Town chairman Jon Gold said he is delighted the Northern Premier League has recognised the way the Dabbers play.
Nantwich were awarded with the Northern Premier League Fair Play award for November.
A new Nantwich Football Academy run by Nantwich Town and Malbank School & Sixth Form College, will kick off in September. Sixteen-year-olds can study for a BTEC Diploma in Sport at Malbank Sixth Form while being coached at Nantwich Town FC.

Nantwich Town bosses have dished out over 2,000 free season passes to primary school children across the town. The Weaver Stadium club, who have launched the initiative with sponsors County Insurance, want to encourage more children to watch their local football side.

By Robert Summerscales Nantwich Town assistant manager Phil Staley is to retire from football due to ill health. Staley, who joined the club in February, had agreed to take caretaker charge after last week’s departure of Jimmy Quinn.
Nantwich Town have shown the door to manager Jimmy Quinn after a poor run of results ended in a home defeat in the Doodson Cup. The Dabbers’ 3-1 defeat to lower league Curzon Ashton was the last straw for the Weaver Stadium board.
Nantwich Town have appointed local businessman Tony Davison to its Board of Directors. Tony recently retired as managing director of Bostik, parent company of league sponsors Evo-Stik.
