Betley FC are the new leaders of the Crewe Regional League Premier Division following Broadhurst FC losing to Faddiley and Crewe Ath being held by Cheshire Cheese.
Betley FC beat The Lions by 2-1 with goals from Danny Lavalette and Keiran Duckers with Deneilson Isigwe replying for the Lions.

A bid to bring free parking to car parks in Nantwich and across Cheshire East as lockdown eases has not been ruled out by council leaders.
Nantwich South and Stapeley Cllr Peter Groves asked a Cabinet meeting today (March 9) if CEC would bring in free parking in May, June, and July to boost the borough’s town centres.

A bid to secure more free parking in Cheshire East towns like Nantwich in run up to Christmas has been rebuked by the ruling Labour-Independent coalition.
Conservative group leader Cllr Janet Clowes called on borough chiefs to relax some charges in council car parks in key market towns from December 3 until January 2021.
Leaders from councils and emergency services across Cheshire met today to discuss the impact the Government’s month-long lockdown will have on the county.
And they now plan to bring forward a localised test, trace and isolate system, to be fully operational at the end of the new lockdown period.

Plans to scrap Cheshire East Council’s cabinet in May and replace it with a series of decision-making committees have been pushed back by 12 months.
Councillors agreed last May that CEC should work towards introducing the new system for 2020-21, but a first proposal for how that could be carried out was turned down last November.
