Nantwich Concert Band’s summer season is in full swing after an excellent concert with the Fraser School of Irish Dancers.
The groups teamed up to perform a Midsummer Music and Dance concert in Nantwich Civic Hall.
Nantwich Concert Band is to stage a fund-raising quiz night at Nantwich Cricket Club.
The annual event takes place at the Whitehouse Lane venue on September 23.

Midsummer Music will be led by musical director Nick Birch, a euphonium player with Fodens Brass (winners of this year’s North West Regional Finals).
Worleston will be staging its village fete on July 25 with a host of entertainment on offer.
The event, to be staged at St Oswald’s Primary School, will feature Nantwich Concert Band among others.
The Nantwich Concert band wowed a packed crowd at the Civic Hall.
The band hosted the “Midsummer Music Concert” in front of Nantwich’s new Mayor and deputy Mayor, Cllrs Andrew Martin and Norma Simpson.
