Users of car parks in Nantwich and Crewe are currently charged for car parking, and face some of the highest charges in the borough.

Plans to introduce parking charges in towns where it is currently free, have been controversially scrapped by Cheshire East Council.
If approved, charges would have been introduced in Middlewich, Alsager, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach and other towns in line with Nantwich, Crewe, and Macclesfield.

A bid to bring free parking to car parks in Nantwich and across Cheshire East as lockdown eases has not been ruled out by council leaders.
Nantwich South and Stapeley Cllr Peter Groves asked a Cabinet meeting today (March 9) if CEC would bring in free parking in May, June, and July to boost the borough’s town centres.

Residents with non-visible disabilities are treated the same as those with visible conditions when it comes to blue badge applications, according to Cheshire East Council.
The council has defended its record on the parking permits after a BBC investigation shows a disparity in approval ratings between those with non-visible and visible conditions.
Nantwich residents can air their views on local transport and parking plans unveiled for the town.
The consultations, which end on 31 January, seek the views of people, communities, elected members and other stakeholders.
