South Cheshire Harriers 10k race in April postponed
The South Cheshire Harriers annual 10k race scheduled for April 12 has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The club said a rescheduled date for the race would be released in due course.

A number of South Cheshire Harriers battled through heavy rain and wind to put in fine performances in the Rhyl 10-miler.
South Cheshire Harriers runner James Nicholls shone bright in the Alsager 5 race.
He was one of 91 from the Harriers club to take part in one of the most prestigious road races in the years’ calendar.
Hundreds of plastic ducks raced each other in Wistaston at the annnual “Duck Race and Children’s Model Boat Race” event.
Villagers gathered at the Joey the Swan Recreation ground for the event which was organised by members of the Wistaston Community Council.
Nantwich Town’s first duck race on Mill Island sent hundreds of people quackers with delight – and helped raise £1,800 for hospice!
The event was organised by Nantwich Lions in aid of charitable beneficiary, Hope House.

Wistaston’s ducks made a comeback after their original race was called off – because of wet weather!
Hundreds of villagers were back out in force this weekend for the re-scheduled event, and had a quacking time at the Joey the Swan recreation ground.
Wistaston villagers will pack into Joey the Swan this weekend to enjoy the annual Duck Race.
The event will also feature the popular children’s Model Boat Race and will include charity stalls.
