A senior civil servant brushed up on his industry skills during a fact-finding tour of Reaseheath College in Nantwich. David Russell, director of “Closing the Gap” in the Department for Education, visited Reaseheath because of its reputation for skills development and engagement with industry.
Reaseheath College has been given the thumbs up by Ofsted inspectors over how it cares for younger students on campus. An Ofsted report into the Nantwich college gave it the highest accolade for support, development and care of 16-18 year old residential students.
TV vet Steve Leonard is the celebrity lined up to switch on the Christmas Lights in Nantwich this year. Leonard (pictured), who lives in Cheshire, is famous for hosting BBC shows including ”Orangutan Diaries” and “Vets in Practice”.
The ‘Stars’ of Reaseheath College in Nantwich have been honoured for their contribution at an Awards of Excellence event. Teams and individuals judged to have “gone the extra mile” were rewarded at the annual presentation.
A dedicated St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice supporter is in training for a once-in-a-lifetime climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Becky Platt, 26, who works in the catering department at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, is all set for her gruelling challenge.
