A film crew has descended on Nantwich to shoot scenes for Netflix’s new Sherlock Holmes series.
‘The Irregulars’ was shot yesterday (Monday December 2) and will continue today (December 3) within the grounds of Grade I listed Jacobean mansion Dorfold Hall, between Nantwich and Acton.
One of Britain’s best-loved detectives is live on-stage in a new case at Crewe Lyceum next week.
Sherlock Holmes and the Ripper Murders, will play at the venue from Monday August 3 to Wednesday August 5.

An open-air theatre company is bringing the very best of Sherlock Holmes to Nantwich this summer. Chapterhouse Theatre Company will perform the famous Hound of the Baskervilles in the grounds of Reaseheath College on July 20.
