A drummer from Wistaston helped lead the 75th anniversary of Victory in Japan Day (VJ Day) in Nantwich town centre.
Victory in Japan Day was the moment that the Allies (Britain, the US and other countries fighting together) marked victory over Japan.

VE Day Celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, took place in Nantwich town centre.
Union Jack flags lined the streets and shop windows of the town centre, with rain moving the celebrations from the town square to St Mary’s Church.
Organisers of VE Day celebrations in Nantwich have unveiled plans to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Commemorations will begin at 12.30pm on Friday May 8 in Nantwich town centre, opening with Redshift Radio and music from the era.
The flags and bunting are out in Nantwich town centre as preparations gather pace to mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day.
