Hundreds of villagers came out in force to celebrate another colourful Bunbury Village Day.
Organisers hailed the annual event another great success, attracting nearly 1,000 paying adults.

The event, on Saturday June 13th, is on the theme of “Wild Bunbury” and will celebrate the wildlife, countryside and community spirit that makes it a special place to live.

The High Sheriff of Cheshire will be guest of honour at the Medieval-themed Bunbury Village Day on June 25.
Jeannie France-Hayhurst is one of 55 High Sheriffs installed across in the UK appointed by Her Majesty the Queen to promote wellbeing and prosperity of their region, to keep the peace, uphold the law and support the Judiciary.

The Bunbury Village Day is returning in 2022 and is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 25.
And this year organisers have chosen a Medieval theme.
Bunbury Village Day 2021 – an Olympic day out

The theme for the 2021 event was the Olympics, to coincide with the delayed Tokyo Games, which were postponed last year due to the pandemic.
