A growing men’s walking group in Nantwich is encouraging more to make the most of the lighter evenings and warmer weather by joining its free weekly wellbeing walks.
The Nantwich branch of “Men Walking and Talking” has gone from strength to strength since launching in December 2024.
Leighton Hospital has launched a new walking aid reuse service to boost access to equipment and help the environment.
Patients can now return mobility aids they no longer need to the Outpatient Physiotherapy department at Leighton Hospital.

Residents have urged Cheshire East to consider introducing a 20mph speed limit on restricted roads across the borough and asked why it isn’t included in the draft active travel strategy.

Walking around myself I have enjoyed walking over junctions rather than running to get out of the way of a vehicle and I have experienced an overall positive impact to my safety whilst being active than before the changes.
