A fund-raising music concert took place in the newly refurbished function room at Willaston Social Club.
The concert featured local bands ‘Brave New World’ and ‘The Blue Yellows’.
A Nantwich “Full Monty” calendar made by 11 South Cheshire lads has raised a stunning £5,000 for charity. Brothers Roy and Neil Aspinall persuaded their friends to put the calendar together a year ago, as revealed by Nantwichnews.
The Nantwich Poets group is to host Joy Winkler’s acclaimed touring drama, TOWN. The performance will take place at Willaston Social Club on Wednesday September 25 as part of TOWN’s Autumn Tour of the UK.
A Willaston councillor is staging a birthday celebration to help raise money for village causes. Cllr Brian Silvester’s party on the evening of January 21 takes place at Willaston Social Club.
The award-winning Willaston in Bloom team has received funds of £440 from local councillor Brian Silvester. The money was part of £1,500 raised at a night of entertainment at Willaston Social Club to celebrate Cllr Silvester’s 35 years of service.
