Scores of protesters gathered in Nantwich town centre to demonstrate against a local abattoir at the centre of an investigation into abuse of horses. The Red Lion Abattoir, at Sound Heath near Wrenbury, is being probed by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and the RSPCA.
