Couples can now tie the knot at the most iconic park in the Crewe and Nantwich area.
Queens Park, seen as one of Cheshire East’s “jewels in the crown”, has been formally named as an official wedding venue.
Loved-up couples can now say “I do” under the iconic bandstand or lakeside veranda and celebrate in the refurbished lakeside pavilion.
Cheshire East registration service has now officially approved the Victorian park as a place where couples can make their vows.
Cllr David Topping, Cabinet member in charge of the environment, said: “Queens Park is one of the jewels in Cheshire East’s crown and ongoing investment has meant this wonderful facility can now be utilised to full advantage.
“The delightful grounds of the park make this venue simply ideal and any wedding photographs extra special, providing many happy memories for the wedding couple, a bridal party and friends for many years to come.
“The pavilion itself is a striking venue with views over the lake, which has also undergone considerable restoration.
“The space is so flexible it can accommodate almost any requirements, with space to expand on to the extensive grounds if needed.
“The impressive driveway to the venue also provides a wonderful entrance for the bridal party’s arrival.”
The Pickle Jar, the company which operates from the pavilion, will also offer catering and decoration services.
