Fire ripped through a derelict building on Welshmans Lane in Nantwich.
The blaze was on the top floor of the empty premises and broke out at around 11am today (August 7).
Emergency services had to close the road while fire crews Nantwich, Crewe and Alsager tackled the fire.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue said the top of the building was well alight when they arrived and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames.
No one was inside and it’s believed no one was injured in the incident.
The road was re-opened about three hours later.
