A driver was killed in a head-on smash as he overtook another vehicle on a road near Nantwich. The accident happened on the B5074 Main Road, Church Minshull.

A Spring Plant and Book Sale organised by Nantwich Museum Trust will take place at the Pillory Street venue tomorrow (May 26). The sale, which will run from 10am to 12.30pm, will include a wide selection of plants and books for sale in aid of museum funds.
