Bentley Motors needs to crackdown on workers who clog up residential streets rather than parking on the company’s car parks, say councillors.
The luxury car manufacturer was given permission by Cheshire East’s strategic planning board to build a new paint shop at its Crewe campus and two link bridges over Sunnybank Road.
2023 Everybody Health and Leisure award winners unveiled
Winners of the Everybody Health and Leisure awards have been unveiled, including a number from Nantwich and Crewe.
Around 150 guests attended the awards at Crewe Hall, with multiple medal winner and Paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson hosting.

A clean-up of the polluted River Weaver in Nantwich has been carried out by Cheshire East Council.
It comes after a large number of dead fish, birds and debris were washed up along riverside park areas in the town due to several pollution incidents.

The store, which sells new and second-hand vinyl records on Barker Street, is run by Steve Cook.
NAR Kollective and Reaseheath College in sports coaching initiative
An initiative by NAR Kollective and Reaseheath College in Nantwich has opened the door to professional sports coaching to hundreds of young learners across Cheshire.
The partnership has provided students with Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development and a working knowledge to BSc (Hons) students in Football Coaching.
More than 11,000 households sign up to CEC garden waste scheme

More than 11,300 households in Cheshire East have so far signed up to the council’s subscription scheme to have their garden waste bins emptied from next year.
Of those, 9,500 have already paid the annual £56 charge, which has boosted the council’s coffers by £532,000.
