Weaver Wander celebrates 10th anniversary of Nantwich event

The 10th annual Weaver Wander pulled in the crowds to Nantwich as organisers celebrated a decade of fund-raising journeys.

The charity classic & sports car rally –  started in the town and saw more than 150 cars and motorcycles assembled for viewing from 8am at Nantwich Football Club car park.

A butcher who stabbed three people after a night out in Crewe has been jailed for 12 years.

Marian Minu, 34, of Nantwich Road, Crewe, was jailed at Chester Crown Court after pleading guilty to one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of causing grevious bodily harm and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
