Dementia Action Week to turn Nantwich “blue”
Nantwich could be turned blue next year by supporters of Dementia Action Week.
The week, in May 2020, aims to raise awareness and sets out to have fun helping the town become more dementia friendly.

Everyone had a lovely time at The Teddy Bear’s Picnic – and helped raise vital funds for Wingate Centre near Nantwich.
The sun shone and local families enjoyed a fabulous day out in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle.
RSPCA Stapeley Grange to stage 25th anniversary summer fair
RSPCA Stapeley Grange wildlife centre and cattery in Nantwich is starting its 25th anniversary celebrations with a summer fair this weekend.
Stapeley Grange, in London Road, opened in 1994 and since then has seen tens of thousands of animals come through its doors.

Cake lovers across Cheshire will be decorating, baking and icing next month as part of the Hope House and Ty Gobaith Eat Cake Week from April 8-15.
Cafes, restaurants, schools, clubs, businesses and individuals are taking part including Nantwich Library who are holding a coffee and cake morning in the run up to Eat Cake week on Thursday April 4.

Nantwich young farmers helped to raise more than £9,500 for local causes from their 49th annual pantomime ‘Peter Pan & Captain hooks revenge’.
After many weeks of hard work and dedication, members managed to raise a staggering £9,601.
