Organisers of this year’s Nantwich Jazz Blues & Music festival this Easter believe it will be the busiest – and safest – one yet. Tens of thousands of music fans are set to descend on the town for the five-day festival over the Easter weekend April 17 to 21.
By Jonathan White Wistaston Memorial Hall was crammed full with music lovers for the village’s annual Spring Concert. Crewe Concert Band , under musical director and conductor Albert Dunseath, performed a mix of music from jazz, musicals, to a Frank Sinatra tribute.
Nantwich Police have issued a warning to revellers to “drink responsibly” during the Nantwich Jazz Festival this month. More officers will be drafted in to the town to cope with the huge crowds which flock to the festival over Easter weekend.
