The South Cheshire Orchestra performed the first concert of their 2014-2015 season at Nantwich Methodist Church in Hospital Street.
The conductor was Alex Leadbeater and the Leader was Lewis Goodrich.
A Christmas classics concert by the British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra returns to Crewe Lyceum Theatre with the Viennese Strauss Christmas Gala on December 6.
The festive evening will showcase seasonal favourites from Viennese composer Strauss, along with composers like Kalman, Lehar and traditional Christmas carols.
St Mary’s Church in Nantwich will be hosting an event called “Christmas with the Nantwich Singers” on December 13.
The programme will include music from the 16th century (Guerrero and Victoria) through to the 21st Century (Will Todd and Alan Bullard).

Thousands of families packed in to Nantwich town square to enjoy the annual Christmas Lights switch-on event.

South Cheshire George Formby Ukulele Society has celebrated its 20th anniversary at a concert in Wistaston Memorial Hall.
The event included group and solo ukulele performances, a harmonica solo, plus solo and duet singing.
An exhibition of work by Nantwich Museum’s Craft Group has opened in the community gallery of the museum.
Recent work by the group will be on display including the Voluntary Aid Detachment uniform made especially for the Great War exhibition.
