Concerns raised as long Covid hubs axed in Cheshire

Concerns have been raised over a decision to axe specialised long Covid ‘hubs’ in Cheshire.

The hubs were set up in the aftermath of the pandemic to help those suffering from after-effects of Covid-19 such as breathlessness, poor sleep, fatigue, a cough, or anxiety and low mood.

A Nantwich resident has called for work on limiting or preventing traffic on a busy town centre route to be speeded up.

Neil Dodd appeared before Nantwich Town Council requesting an update on discussions around potentially pedestrianising Pillory Street and Hospital Street in the future.
