Former England goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis visited Nantwich Town Ladies to present new kit to players on behalf of local sponsor Boughey Distribution.

Rachel, now a broadcaster, was joined by Boughey managing director Angela Carus to present substitute warm-up coats to team manager Dan Mellor and captain Claire Rathbone.

Katie Frimston, who works at Reaseheath College in Nantwich as a teaching and learning support mentor, received the Excellent Educator trophy at the national Dyslexia Awards on September 24.

Care at home providers have received an extra 14% towards their fees from Cheshire East Council this year to cover spiralling costs.

Cheshire East had already agreed to increase the amount it pays providers by 6% earlier this year.
