Crewe Ath and Willaston WS progressed to the semi-finals of the Crewe FA Sunday Cup following penalty shoot-out wins.
Crewe Ath must have thought they had won their tie in normal time leading 3-1 against Betley going into the last minute.
There were no surprises in the Presidents Cup as Premier Division sides progressed at the expense of their Division One opponents.
Betley FC won 4-1 at Faddiley with goals from Jamie Baker 2, Rob Prince and Chris Robasnek. Mark Cumberbatch scored for Faddiley.
Heavy rain washed out all the Crewe Sunday Regional Premier Division ties at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Betley FC lost 4-2 in the Staffs FA Sunday Challenge Cup at Spittal Brook, despite leading 2-1 with 20 minutes to go.
Betley FC won an excellent Division One Cup Final beating Talbot 3-2 after extra time.
The sides were level at 2-2 after 90 minutes but an unfortunate own goal gave victory to Betley.
The final of the Presidents Cup will be between Division One Betley FC and Premier Division Railway Hotel.
Betley FC secured their place with a 6-2 win over Bank Corner.
Betley caused an upset by beating Premier Division Rising Sun 8-6 after extra time in the first round of the Crewe FA Sunday Cup.
Division One Betley had equalised with the last kick of the 90 minutes to take it to extra time.
