Dozens of Nantwich Running Club members dressed up in Halloween costumes for their training run this week.
They sported ghoulishly good Halloween get-ups including skeletons, ghosts, witches, and even a T-Rex dinosaur!
Students from Reaseheath College and University Centre in Nantwich have been hailed after raising more than £17,206 for this year’s chosen charity, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).
The impressive amount was raised through RAG (Raising and Giving) activities including a sky dive by 14 staff and students, a sponsored walk of the 34 mile Sandstone Trail and a spooktacular Scarefest at Halloween.

Thousands packed in to Dorfold Park in Nantwich to enjoy the 14th annual ‘Alpha Omega Halloween Spooktacular’.
Shuttle buses carried passengers from the designated Nantwich park and ride car parks to and from the venue.
Crewe Pride returns to Cheshire East next month with an event being held at Crewe Market Hall on Saturday October 22.
This year’s event will be Halloween-themed and will feature family-friendly entertainment, live music and stalls, located both inside and outside Crewe Market Hall.

The event last night (October 30) returned after being cancelled last year because of the Covid pandemic.

This year marks the 13th anniversary of the event which takes place on Saturday October 30 at Nantwich Show Ground, at Dorfold Park.

The annual Hope House Dark Run in aid of the hospice is going virtual this Halloween.
Children and adults from around Nantwich are being encouraged to pull on their fluorescent and spooky outfits and hit the street on a 5K route near their homes.
Organisers of the Nantwich Spooktacular say the event WILL go ahead and will be COVID compliant.

Nantwich Library is to stage a series of half-term Halloween events over the next week.

The popular theatre has a selection of horrifyingly good shows for audiences who just can’t get enough of the spooky season.
