The South Cheshire branch of blood cancer charity ‘Bloodwise’ has raised money for the charity at three events in Nantwich.
A coffee morning on December 15 was held at Nantwich Parish Rooms and raised £117.65.
The “Party in the Lane” event in Stapeley has helped to raise more than £1,300 for St Luke’s Hospice, organisers say.
The event, held on June 9, was held on Wybunbury Lane and saw up to 300 villagers attend.
An elderly woman was badly injured after falling down a flight of stairs in Nantwich town centre.
Paramedics and police were called out, including the North West Air Ambulance which landed at nearby Barony Park.

The Nantwich Saturday Night Sequence Dancers have raised £1,000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The money was presented by the group to Liz and Mike Boffey, from the South Cheshire branch of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
Students at a Nantwich college have handed over nearly £6,000 as a tribute to Britain’s war veterans. Proceeds from Reaseheath College’s RAG (Raising and Giving) activities were donated to Broughton House at their summer graduation ball.
Specialist Reaseheath College in Nantwich has notched up a record year of student enrolments and achievements. Around 1,120 graduating FE students have achieved industry recognised qualifications and skills.
