Rail fans were treated to a rare sight today when the historic Blue Peter engine passed through Nantwich Station.
The historic locomotive was witnessed pulling the “Welsh Marches Express” to Cardiff.
Nantwich rail passengers and motorists will face delays and disruption this weekend when major railway works are carried out on the Shrewsbury-Crewe line.
Renewal works will be taking place from 1am on Saturday (July 19) to 4am on Monday (July 21).
