A man was arrested but others escaped after a dramatic high-speed police chase across South Cheshire and into Wales.
The incident began after reports of a burglary at a house on Langley Drive, Crewe, at around 11.30am yesterday (July 25).
Residents have called for action on a “dangerous” junction near Nantwich which has seen three accidents in three days this week.
The latest incident happened yesterday (February 15) at the junction of the A534 with Monk’s Lane and Cuckoo Lane, at Acton.

Attempts to impose 20mph limits on new housing developments in Cheshire East often fail because the wording of the council’s speed management strategy means efforts can be blocked, a councillor said.
Cllr Suzie Akers Smith is now meeting with the head of highways to ask if the document can be re-worded so officers can’t stop attempts by councillors at the planning stage to have 20mph limits designated for new residential developments.
