Katie Ford, 33, now works at the Alsager Vet Centre, part of The Willows Veterinary Group, where she completed her work placement as part of her course.

Cheshire College South & West celebrates 99.7% A Level pass rate

Staff and students at Cheshire College – South & West have celebrated A Level and AS Level results with an overall pass rate of 99.7% – more than 2% above the national pass rate.

Top results were achieved across a range of subjects, especially in Archaeology, Geology and German with 100% of students achieving A*, A, or B grades.

Reaseheath College in Nantwich has helped two Cheshire farm workers embark on global adventures after awarding scholarships.

Lizzy Andow and Sam Walton have earned John Platt Travel Scholarships from the college and Cheshire Agricultural Society worth £2,000 to fund international research which will benefit Cheshire’s farming community.
