A fine second half showing earned Nantwich Town an FA Cup victory over their higher league opponents Nuneaton at Weaver Stadium.
The Dabbers progressed to the Fourth Qualifying Round in front of nearly 500 fans thanks to goals from David Forbes, Joel Stair and Sean Cooke.
Nantwich Town youth side are following in the footsteps of the first team after defeating Southport at the Weaver Stadium in the first qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup.
Manager Lyndon Wain saw his side progress after a strong performance to defeat the visitors 3-1.

Two goals from winger Matty Chadwick saw visiting Ashton United claim all three points as Nantwich Town slipped to a 3-2 defeat at the Weaver Stadium.
Chadwick opened the scoring after ten minutes before captain Mark Lees doubled the lead soon after with the former then netting a second half penalty to give the visitors a three goal lead.

A super second half goal from sub Steve Jones sent Nantwich Town through to the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round against a difficult Shepshed Dynamo side.
The first half offered little in terms of clear chances for either side, but Dave Cooke’s men turned it up a gear after the interval and came away with a 1-0 win.
Nantwich Town were held to a 1-1 draw by a strong Marine side in wet and windy conditions at the Weaver Stadium.
The Dabbers had taken a first half lead and looked in control despite Marine pressure.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC 1sts began life in Midlands 2 West (North) Division with a convincing 39 -22 home win against Walsall RFC.
The hosts included many new faces after 10 players retired or left the club to play elsewhere.
Nantwich CC missed out on the Cheshire County Premier League title as rain hit their penultimate game away at Grappenhall.
The 1sts had to settle for weather-affected draw and 11 points near Warrington.

And victory came after they went behind as early as the fifth minute.

Nantwich Town suffered their first home defeat of the season as two goals from striker Liam Hardy saw Buxton win 3-1 at the Weaver Stadium.
Sean Cooke’s deflected free kick gave the home side the lead just three minutes in but Joel Stair’s own goal and a goal either side of half time from Hardy, saw the Bucks claim all three points.

A stoppage time winner from midfielder Sean Cooke saw Nantwich Town progress to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win at City of Liverpool FC.
Cooke’s deflected effort in the fifth minute of added time in the second half saw the Dabbers overcome an impressive Liverpool side who had earlier pulled the game level through Luke Denson’s free kick.
South Cheshire College students will benefit from a new partnership with the county’s professional basketball team, Cheshire Phoenix.
The club, known as ‘The Nix’, works with communities striving to get young people active, interested in basketball and embracing healthy living.
