The 65th ‘Cancer Research UK Xmas Fair’ takes place at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane in Wistaston on Saturday November 20.
The event, from 10am to 3pm, will give youngsters a chance to meet Father Christmas (£3 per child) and receive a present from him.
Workplaces are being urged to back Cheshire hospice St Luke’s “Bring a £1 to Work Day” fundraising initiative.
The fundraiser is taking place on Wednesday November 3 and is a chance for businesses to bring their staff together and invite them to donate £1 for St Luke’s.
South Cheshire radio station The Cat 107.9FM is staging a “Thank You to the NHS” event at Crewe Market Hall on Sunday October 3.
It will be held between 12 noon and 6.30pm as a thank-you for the all the work done by NHS staff during the pandemic.
A fundraising “Woof Mudder” event at Dorfold Hall estate in Acton near Nantwich has helped raise money for a hospice.
The event was in aid of St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice and was sponsored by Homefeeds Pet Food Supermarket, based in Shavington, Crewe.

The UK’s premier 1980s Electronic tribute band Electro 80s will perform a fund-raising concert at ‘Studio Nantwich’ club in Nantwich on October 1 in aid of charity.
The concert, with doors open 8.30pm, is free to enter with cash donations on the door in aid of Nantwich foodbank.
A “meet the artist” viewing of the Tarporley Art Trail and a six-day group exhibition is being held at The Swan at Tarporley.
The event is part of the Tarporley Big Weekend, where community organisations join forces to allow visitors to browse the village’s independent shops, enjoy performances from local acts and follow an art trail through the village.
The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury will host its 10th Teddy Bears Picnic in August at nearby Cholmondeley Castle.
The event on Sunday August 22 includes the popular Teddy Bear Hunt, Name the Teddy, art and crafts, stalls, Teddy Tombola, Lucky Dip, Hook a Duck, Face Painting, Bouncy, Balloon Animals and more.

Charity organisers want to provide a “calming, child-friendly environment we can help to relax and distract children of all ages so that their experience is the best that it can be”.
The popular St Luke’s Hospice “Midnight Walk” fundraiser will return in June, organisers have confirmed.
The event is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the hospice, but had to be held “virtually” in 2020 because of the pandemic.
