Old school BMX bike fans converged on South Cheshire for a social ride.
More than 50 people travelled from around the UK – from Nantwich to Norwich – for the annual ‘Chesh-Air’ event, organised by the ‘Crewe and Cheshire old school BMX’ group.
Film fans flocked to Nantwich for the town’s second annual Nantwich Film festival – which included a vintage mobile cinema!
The event took place between May 15-21, with a series of screenings and talks at various venues including the Civic Hall and Nantwich Bookshop.
Dogs and owners across South Cheshire are invited to join a mass morning dog walk from Audlem Mill.
The walk will take place along the Shropshire Union Canal this Saturday June 3, starting at 10am.
A ‘Bumps, Babies, and Beyond’ group is being launched in Nantwich for new and expectant mums and dads in the area.
The first session of the group is to be held on May 15 at Regents Park Cafe, off London Road, Nantwich.

The first-ever ‘Crewetical Mass’ proved a hit with more than 20 cyclists.
They pedalled in from Wistaston, Nantwich and Sandbach to take part at Crewe Railway Station.

Crewe Amateur Musicals Society present their latest production of ‘Whistle Down the Wind’ at The Lyceum this week.
Based on the novel by Mary Hayley Bell, the show tells the story of a mysterious stranger whose fate lies between the prejudice of adults and the innocence of children.
Nantwich Camera Club is to host a ‘special’ photographic lecture by Andrew Brooks.
The artist, photographer and film maker from Manchester will present his talk “The Constructed Image” on March 28.

The 34th annual South Cheshire Militaire show took place at the new venue of Malbank School & Sixth Form College in Nantwich.
The show is organised by the South Cheshire Military Modelling Club and included scale-model Army, Navy and Air Force club displays.

Crewe Amateur Musicals Society are busy rehearsing for their next Crewe Lyceum show ‘Whistle Down The Wind’.
The group will be performing the show between March 15-18.
Nantwich Choral Society has unveiled a programme featuring some of the country’s best-known classical performers.
Rehearsals are in full swing for an early Easter concert including big name singers and the Northern Concordia Orchestra at Nantwich Civic Hall on March 26.
Singers from around the UK joined Nantwich Choral Society for a one-off ‘Come and Sing Handel’s Messiah’ concert at St Mary’s Church.
The extras swelled the choir to 201 people, who were split into sections within the church’s Nave by tenor, soprano, contralto, and bass.
