BBC newsreader Beccy Meehan will be switching on the Nantwich Christmas Lights this year with thousands expected at the event on November 21.
Beccy will join Nantwich Mayor Cllr Andrew Martin and Father Christmas to flick the switch and light up the town square.

Thousands turned out to enjoy a bonfire and firework spectacular organised by Crewe and Nantwich Lions Club.
The event took place at Queens Park in Crewe, with fireworks supplied and choreographed by Blitz Fireworks of Crewe.
St Luke’s Hospice is to hold its annual Community Christmas Fair on November 28.
The event, organised by St Luke’s nurses, will feature 60 stalls offering foods, clothes, games, children’s toys, treats and trinkets.

Thousands of people flocked to Dorfold Hall Park in Nantwich for Spooktacular 2015.
Frankenstein, jesters, witches and other spooky characters of all ages converged at the event for the fancy dress competition, fairground rides, a bonfire and fireworks.
